Born and raised in the Midwest, Emily shows love by feeding people. This site is about feeding souls and bodies — the intersection of the kitchen and the altar.

Emily moved south for college (AB in Religion from Duke University; MDiv from Duke Divinity School) and never left; she’s ministered in congregations in Louisiana, Missouri, North and South Carolina, and Texas. The center of her call is to listen with people to God’s call, and discern together how to respond, she loves ministering in parishes most of all.

Currently she lives in Houston, Texas with her scholar-priest husband and 4 young kids. Outside of all this, she enjoys yoga, cross stitch, and coffeeshops.
